What are the benefits of a multi-site energy contract?
There are many benefits to having a multi-site energy contract. Firstly, we can arrange bespoke payment setups, whether you need individual Direct Debits or one joint one with itemised bills for each site.
With access to wholesale bespoke pricing, we can group the whole account usage, enabling us to secure better rates compared to matrix offers.
In our experience, a lot of multi-site customers struggle to keep on top of renewals. With accounts being across many suppliers with multiple end dates, individual renewals can be difficult to keep track of. With a multi-site contract, we can provide a combined or co-terminus end date, meaning the energy renewal will only need to be dealt with once a year.
Estimate bills are also a big problem when dealing with multiple sites, but we can arrange for smart meters to be installed ensuring no bills will be estimated and there will be no unexpected debts on accounts.
What types of energy deals are available through multi-site contracts?
Larger customers can purchase their energy in a variety of different ways.
Fixed Price Contract – You will pay a fixed standing charge and unit rate for each kWh throughout your contract.
Passthrough Contract – with these contracts your energy is bought by the supplier at the start of the contract, but the non-commodity costs (industry taxes and levies) will be passed through at the prevailing rate.
Flex Contract – with these contracts we can either fix or pass through the non-commodity costs, then the commodity (energy) will be purchased at various points in the contract, hoping to take advantage of drops in the market and following a purchasing strategy.

What’s the difference between standard and multi-site energy contracts?

---|---|---|
Number of Sites | One | Multiple |
Contract Negotiation | Negotiated for each site separately | Negotiated as a single contract for all sites |
Billing | Each site is billed separately | Bespoke billing to suit your needs |
Contract Term | Generally 1, 2 and 3-year terms | Any contract term, allowing contracts to be aligned and produce a co-terminus account |
Pricing | Fixed pricing | Fixed or Flexible pricing for all sites, with bespoke wholesale market prices for larger volume customers |
Contract Management | Each site is managed separately | One contract managed for all sites |
Administration | Multiple contracts and bills to manage | Bespoke billing to streamline payments and validation, potentially reducing administration costs |
Which business energy suppliers offer multi-site energy deals?
All of our energy suppliers offer multi-site energy contracts, so we can change your current energy bills over to one multi-site tariff. Having multiple energy suppliers will usually mean you’ll have a variety of payment dates; with the multi-site contract, you’ll have just one common end date.
